My (refined) gap: A calendar to collect and organize my weekly commitments in an efficient manner

I have to tell you, collecting user information was tougher than I expected. People have a very personal attachment with their current task list/calendar situation and asking "Why do you do this?" can spark emotional or defensive reactions. At the same time, it was tremendously illuminating to hear different perspectives and see the painpoints that many people encounter with their current systems. These conversations have led me to identify a number of user needs.
